A. Michelsen Christmas Spoon 1912. Partially gilt Sterling Silver. Design Poul U. Michelsen (Grandson of A. Michelsen) In 1911, Poul U. Michelsen passed the apprenticeship test as a silversmith, and a few years later he became co-owner of the old company, taking it over in 1921 when his father Carl Michelsen died. The motif is two Christmas bells over three Christmas roses.
