Aluminia. Extremely rare figurine from the serie "Aftenselskabet" by Kai Nielsen. This is called the "The Countess" and is shaped as a peacock. The serie was made as a comic satire of the higher class people of Denmark. It was created by artist Kai Nielsen in 1910. Decoration number 794/672. Factory first. Height 20.5 cm. Slight crazing in glaze otherwise perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Very rarely offered for sale.
