Helena Tynell (b. 1918, d. 2016) for Limburg. Pendant lamp. Brass construction with screen of opaline art glass. Finnish design, 1970s. Measures: 31 x 29 cm. In good condition. Helena Tynell was born in 1918 in Äänekoski. She graduated in 1943 from the School of Art and Design in Helsinki and then worked for 3 years at Arabia. In 1946, she was hired as a glass designer at Riihimäki. After the closure of Riihimäki in 1976, Tynell moved to Germany, where she worked as a designer for Limburg.
