Pierre Forssell (1925-2004), listed Swedish designer and painter. Oil on canvas. Modernist landscape with houses. Colourful palette. In excellent condition with a few small insignificant chips in the paint. Signed and dated '57. Dimensions: W 35 cm x H 27 cm. Pierre Forssell (1915–1997) was a Swedish artist best known for his work in ceramics and metal, but he also produced a limited number of paintings in the mid-20th century. His paintings, rarely exhibited, reflect an interest in abstract and experimental forms, often featuring a simple yet expressive color palette. Although his paintings constitute a smaller part of his artistic output, they contribute to a broader understanding of his creative work during that period.
