Hand-thrown stoneware vase with scalloped rim and organic Art Nouveau decoration in soft blush glaze with deep blue hand-painted arch motifs throughout. A unique artisan-made example from early Danish ceramic production. Origin: Denmark, Roskilde Lervarefabrik. Material: Ceramic. Dimensions: H. 12 cm, D. 9 cm. Period: 1920s/30s. Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of use. Bio: Roskilde Lervarefabrik was a notable Danish pottery on Zealand in the early 20th century, recognised for its hand-thrown and individually decorated pieces reflecting the Nordic interpretation of the Jugend / Art Nouveau aesthetic.
