Royal Copenhagen, vase.

Royal Copenhagen, vase. Large baluster-shaped porcelain vase with a hand-painted underglaze decoration of flowers and foliage in soft pink, green, and grey tones against a pale blue ground. The decoration is richly nuanced and well balanced with the generous proportions of the vase. Royal Copenhagen model 2549 with decoration 1148, dated 1966. Origin: Denmark. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: H. 30 cm, D. 14 cm. Period: 1966. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. First factory quality. Bio: During the 1960s, Royal Copenhagen continued its tradition of hand-painted underglaze porcelain with a more relaxed and decorative approach. The period is characterised by confident brushwork, subtle tonal transitions, and a consistently high level of craftsmanship, combining classical porcelain techniques with a distinctly mid-century elegance.
