Painted tile table, Louis XVI, 1780, Denmark.

Rare original brown painted tile table, Louis XVI, 1780, Denmark. With tapered legs. With 16 fantastically rare blue painted ornament tiles with flowers and vines from the Morsø Factory in a pattern. In addition, 8 completely white tiles from the same period - probably from - Copenhagen. The white tiles sit as a four-way in the middle and one in each corner. H.: 70 cm. L.: 89 cm. D.: 62 cm. Provenance: An old large timbered farm in Hårmark on Samsø. The table appears original - although with restorations, including fittings on the edge. Originally there was a drawer at one end and pull-out trays at each end. The 4 white tiles in the corners have defects.
